Mission

To provide our youth with opportunities for spiritual growth and personal development in a safe and caring environment through Christian fellowship.

Nursery and Sunday School

Our Nursery services are offered during the 10:00 am Mass. Children age 6 months through 3 years are welcome to join us during this time. To volunteer or obtain more information, please contact our ministry leads or the church office at 954-473-6578.

Saint Benedict’s is blessed with wonderful teachers for our Sunday School and we have an established curriculum in place. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our student events such as mission work, fundraisers, cookouts and more. No formal teaching credentials are required for our volunteers or teachers, just a love of Christ along with a nurturing and fun loving attitude - (however all adults working with our youth must successfully complete Safeguarding God’s Children which we provide free of charge).

Our goals include:

  • Be Christ Centered
  • Develop the relationship of our youth with God
  • Foster awareness & appreciation of our Youth & their Gifts
  • Increase visibility and involvement of our youth
  • Living and serving God within themselves and their neighbors
  • Loving and worshiping God in whatever we do
  • Belong, grow, serve and share, worship

Age 2 through Grade 8 during the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Before the sermon, the children will be escorted to class and will return before communion.

Youth Ministry Programs

Saint Benedict’s youth group actively takes part in our worship services throughout the year. We offer Church School during the 10:00 am Mass for preschool and kindergarten through grade 12.
