ABOUT THE CHANCEL CHOIR
The Chancel Choir is a volunteer ensemble open to age groups ranging from first-year high school students to the young at heart who desire to worship God through song. You do not have to read music. However, the sight-reading ability is a plus.
The choir performs everything from contemporary to choral anthems in the Anglican tradition. From Hillsong to John Rutter, from Kirk Franklin to Orlando Gibbons, our music reflects our diverse community and universal faith. It actively engages worshipers in the praise and worship of God.
Rehearsals are Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:45 pm and Sunday at 9:30 am (before the 10 am service). In addition to singing at weekend liturgies, the Chancel Choir also performs throughout the community at interfaith concerts and performances. For more membership information or to be added to our newsletter list-serv, please contact Mr. Xavier W. Richardson, Director of Music & Organist, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
