Holy Week

St. Benedict’s welcomes you to our Holy Week services:

Palm Sunday-April 1st and April 2nd 

Saturday, April 1st at 6:00 pm with the Procession beginning on the East patio. 

Sunday, April 2nd 8:00 am Mass with the Procession beginning on the East patio. 

Sunday, April 2nd 10:00 am Mass will begin in the Memorial Garden 

With a Solemn Procession into the church. 

Monday and Tuesday of Holy Week-April 3rd and 4th 

Mass begins at 8:30 am on Monday April 3rd and Tuesday April 4th 

The Traditional Chrism Mass with the Blessing of the Oils and Eucharist – 

Presided by Bishop Eaton – will be at Trinity Cathedral in Downtown Miami at Noon. 

Wednesday of Holy Week-April 5th 

Stations of the Cross: 6:30 pm. 

Healing Service: 7:00 pm. 

Maundy Thursday-April 6th 

On Thursday (April 6th) there will be no 8:30 am morning Mass. 

The Eucharist with the traditional “Washing of the Feet” will begin at 7:00 pm. 

The Great Watch will begin Maundy Thursday (April 6th) at 8:00 pm and will end at 12:00 PM Noon on Good Friday. Please sign-up on the sheet in the Chapel 

Good Friday-April 7th 

Community Ecumenical Service at Plantation United Methodist Church (April 7th) from 12:00-3:00 pm. 

12:00 pm Stations of the Cross in our church 

3:00 pm Traditional Good Friday Service with the Veneration of the Cross, Holy Communion and will also include the Service of Reconciliation and Burning of Sins. 

There will be a 7:00 pm Stations of the Cross Youth Service on Good Friday, April 7th 

EASTER Services-April 8th and April 9th 

Holy Saturday Night (April 8th) The Easter Vigil will be at 6:00 pm. 

Baptismal Festival (Children and Adults will be baptized – and all will be invited to renew their own baptism) 

Sunday (April 9th) Traditional Easter Day Masses will be at 8:00 and 10:00 am. 

Spanish Easter Day Service will be at 12:00 pm 

Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:00 am service
